1.Following important works have been completed during 2011-12:

  1. Circulating area of RJPB has been improved.
  1. PF surface has been improved at Bhadaura, Gahmar, Rajendrapul and Chausa (UP).
  1. VIP room has been provided at Danapur
  1. Litti chokha stall has been started on PF no.1 at Patna Jn.
  1. 2nd class Waiting Hall has been improved at Dildarnagar.
  1. 40 nos. Low cost shed over benches on platforms have been provided at Gidhaur- 03 nos., Rajendrapul – 02 nos., Majhauligram – 04 nos., Zamania – 01 no., Pali – 01 no., Darauli – 01 no., Rajgir - 07 nos., Mekra Memrakhabad – 04 nos., Nawadah – 01 no., Rampurdumra – 02 nos., DNR-01no.,Biharsharif - 08 nos., Kiul -02 nos., Dadpur – 01 no., &Pawani Kamarpur -02nos.
  1. Upper class Waiting Hall has been improved at Danapur.
  1. Additional one bay PF shed (PF no.1) has been provided at Ara.
  1. FOB at RGD has been improved by providing chequered tiles on steps & top slab.
  1. 600 m2 of heavy duty mosaic tiles have been provided under PP shelter and other cover area at PF no. 1 at RGD.
  1. Improvement of WENA station has been done by providing 08 nos. PF benches, fencing of PF area and repair of PF coping and other passenger amenity items.
  2. Shallow tube well at JMU has been installed to control water scarcity.
  1. PF surface of UP line has been improved by concreting & heavy duty tile under shaded area at BRYA.
  1. Covering of FOB at Dildarnagar station has been completed.
  1. 04 no.1000 liter capacity syntax tanks have been provided at station building at Rajgir. 

2.Following Passenger amenities works have been completed during 2011-12:

  1. More than 50 years old temple (Hard encroachment) has been removed from the circulating area at Danapur. This has paved the way for development of circulating area which otherwise hardly exist.
  1. 01 no. PSR has been removed in Patna – Gaya section.
  1. Panel Interlocking has been commissioned at TAL on 26.05.2011.
  1. 01 no. Deep Tube Well has been commissioned at Sadisopur.
  1. Tamtam parao and unauthorized hut in north side circulating area at Patna Jn. have been dismantled.
  1. Rs. 564.46283 lakhs has been earned from sundry earning against the annual target of Rs. 700.00 Lakhs.
  1. Manning of 06 nos. Unmanned Level crossing (LC no.47 & 28 in KG section, 17& 48 in BR section and 5 & 6 in PNBE-DDG section) have been done.
  1. Goods shed line no. 3 extended 30m to provide facility to accommodate full rake at JMU.
  1. Goods shed PF no. 3 extended 30m at JMU.
  1. 02 no. last Diamond Xing on wooden layout at KEU has been finally converted into fan shaped layout.
  1. RPF Barrack has been constructed at Buxar & Taregana.
  1. Railway Magistrate office and Hazat (Gents & Ladies) has been improved at KEU.
  1. 15 no. hard encroachments & 60 no. soft encroachments have been removed at km. 540/10 to 538/13 on 01.6.11.
  1. 1865 M Boundary wall has been constructed.

3.Following Track renewal works have been completed during 2011-12:

i.Track renewal=37.043 CTR unit

ii.Deep screening=61.36 kms.

iii.Ballasting=77315 m3

iv.Fanshaped T/O=31 nos.

v.Scrap disposal=4210.58 MT
