Important achievements made during the year “2011-2012” up to OCT’11:

 Signal:

 a.Nadaul Panel room was burnt by miscreant on 16.06.11 in which Control panel, Block instrument, Axle Counter, EKT for Crank handle, Communication equipments, UTS were completely destroyed. Restoration of the Panel was done on war basis and complete system along with new panel commissioned on 26.06.11. During the period as an interim measure SM’s slide along with DLBI was commissioned for safe working.

 b.Modified Modem and Relay Driver Card of CEL make SSDAC provided in 52 sections.

 c.PI commissioned at TAL on 26.05.2011.

 d.LED Units (Make-R.T.Vision Technology) have been provided at KEU (33 Nos.),JAJ (55 Nos.), MKA (34 Nos.), FUT (65 Nos.) and DNR (78 Nos.).

 e.IPS (Make-ARPS) has been installed at BKG & TAL.

 f.Data Logger (Make – Efftronics) installed at TAL.

 g.Nos. (MKA-TAL, TAL-HTZ, HTZ-LINK, TAL-LINK) of Single Section Digital Axle Counter (Make – G.G.Tronics) provided at TAL.

 h.New IPS ((Make-ARPS) has been installed at MDE, ATL & DMRX in place of old IPS (Make-Statcon), (Make-ARPS) & (Make-HBL) respectively.

 i.At ARA, ATL, BWH & DNR/EC VRLA Battery-bank of IPS have been replaced by Battery-bank of LMLA cells of 300 Ah.

 j.Analog BPAC provided between RJPB-GZH {Up Line} has been replaced with SSDAC with Dual detection.

 k.Single Section Axle Counter (SSDAC) provided at PET (1 No.) with PPN/DN Line.

 l.Meggaring work of Quad cables laid in 66 block sections have been done.

 m.Point machine converted from mechanical to electrical at DNR/EC of Point 13 Lock 12.

 n.Road Signal of LC 33B (PWS) commissioned.

 o.Rod run for boom lock of LC 33B (PWS) shifted towards west end after erection of foundation to increase width of road at LC 33B (PWS).

 p.Winch machine replaced for LC 33B (PWS).

 q.Interlocking tested at DNR/EC during commissioning after NI work

 r.New Lever lock provided on Lever No.13 of DNR/EC.

 s.EKT & “E” type lock of same ward provided at LC 30A (SCY), 33B (PWS), 38B (NEO), 39C (NEO) & 42B (BTA).

 t.25 Nos. of Temporary Joints in Signaling Cable have been removed.

 u.22 Nos. of Overdue Track Relays replaced.

 v.317 Nos. of old Track circuit batteries replaced with new one.

 w.11 Nos. of DLBI, 4 Nos. of SLBI and 1 No. TLBI have been replaced.

 x.Nos. of Lever Frame has been overhauled.

 y.Testing of Main cable has been done for 1700.10 C/Km.

 z.178 Nos. of Glued joints have been replaced / provided.

Telecom:

 a.Train Indication Board has been converted in to 5 digits at JAJ, MKA, BKP, PNC, FUT, KEU, RJPB and PNBE.

 b.Auto Announcement System has been converted in to 5 digits at BKP, PNC, FUT, RJPB and PNBE.

 c.DNR – HJP 2 Mbps Railway FOIS Data Circuit commissioned on 16.06.2011.

 d.DNR-CRIS 2 Mbps Railway FOIS Data Circuit commissioned on 03.08.2001.

 e.BEHS-WENA 2 Mbps Railway UTS/PRS Data Circuit commissioned on 22.06.11.

 f.SRY-WRS 64 Kbps Railway UTS/PRS Data Circuit commissioned on 14.09.11.

 g.4/6 Quad cable meggaring carried out in entire division. 20 Block section was attended for improving the insulation resistance of 4/6 Quad cable by attending temporary joints, faulty permanent joint, buried isolation transformer in the section during the month.

 h.New 08 Nos. Gate Phone connection made at the newly manned Gate in (BKP-RGD) Section.

 i.One STM install at UTS room/PNBE and 21 Nos. 2mbps modem of UTS/PRS from STM16 shift from OFC/PNBE to UTS room/PNBE.

 j.Speed of Rail net has been increased from 2 Mbps to 10 Mbps at DNR.
